It is my pleasure to share my experiences of working with Direct Difference and highly recommend them.
In a way, Direct Difference’s experts were my mentors, teaching me about the Core Measures during this new segment of my career. I did not appreciate initially that the Core Measures were absolutely tied to reputation of and reimbursement for the hospital. The Direct Difference team quickly taught me the intricacies of Core Measures and the business/financial model for quality in any hospital.
They have many strengths that are important to the anyone overseeing Core Measures. They envision the big picture from the beginning, They understand that Core Measures is a team effort that must be led by someone who is an expert, knows the abstraction details (ever changing though they may be) and is able to teach hospital management the criteria. They are very capable of working with the nursing staff on a daily basis, teaching, overseeing, coaching and prodding staff along to higher accomplishments. They are confident and able to approach anyone and ask for what is needed. Whether they needed to speak to the CEO, the nursing directors, or staff, they were straight-forward, articulate, knowledgeable and professional. They look to resolve issues and improve processes with long term solutions. Administration, physicians and staff were able to depend on Direct Difference to educate and get the job done in a timely manner.
